Dr. Shanti Bhusan Senapati works as a scientist at the Institute of Life Sciences in Bhubaneswar, India. In 1997, he received his B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from O.U.A.T. He received his doctorate from the University of Nebraska Medical Centre in 2010. He received the Harris Prize in Cancer Research from UNMC in Nebraska, USA, in 2010, a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pelotonia at Ohio State University's Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Columbus, Ohio, USA, in 2011, a Ramalingaswami fellowship from the Department of Biotechnology in India in 2012, a Predoctoral Students Travel prize to attend the AACR meeting in 2009 (Denver, USA), and a Student merit scholarship from B.V.Sc, O.U.A.T His group is actively engaged in studying various aspects of tumour microenvironment and interested in understanding and treating inflammation-mediated processes in prostate and pancreatic cancer
