Ramzi M. Mohammad, PhD, is a Professor at the Department of Oncology and Director of GI Research for the Karmanos Cancer Institute, Wayne State University, USA. Dr. Mohammad has more than 25 years of cancer research experience, including extensive experience in animal models. He has established several tumor models of pancreatic cancers and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He was among the first to establish pancreatic orthotopic models. The cell lines and tumors models developed by Dr. Mohammad are in extensive use worldwide for studying new anticancer agents.
