Dr. Mojtaba Sadighi was born in 1960. He received a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran, in 1985, and achieved his MSc and PhD from UMIST, Manchester, England. He is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Amirkabir University of Technology with his main research interests including impact mechanics, composite material, sandwich structures, cellular solids, and bird strike.
