Manfred Frasch is chair of the Division of Developmental Biology in the Department of Biology at Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nürnberg in Germany. From 1991 to 2006 he was on the faculty of Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, where he retains an Adjunct Professor status.
