Dr. M.S. Lakshmi has held academic appointments at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Harvard University, University of Bonn as Alexander von Humboldt Fellow, University of Edinburgh, Chester Beatty Research Institute in London, University of Nottingham in the Cancer Research Campaign Laboratories, and University College Medical School in London. She is presently a senior research scientist in the Cancer Research Unit at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
