Professor lulu Qiao holds a PhD in physical oceanography from Ocean University of China. She is currently a professor at the College of Marine Geosciences, Ocean University of China. She is a director of Estuarine and Coastal Zone Research Institute in Ocean University of China, and a vice director of Key Laboratory of Submarine Geosciences and Prospecting Technology, Ministry of Education, China. She is a guest editor of special issues in Estuarine Coastal Shelf Science and Earth Science
