Prof. Joseph Coselli is the chief Professor of Surgery, of the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery and the Executive vice-chair of Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, United States. He has specialized in the evaluation and treatment of aortic disease, including the aortic valve and root, the aortic arch, and the thoracoabdominal aorta, using open surgical and endovascular techniques. In 40 years of service, he has performed more than 10,500 aortic repairs, including more than 3700 repairs of thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms, for which he is world-renowned.
