Jasti S. Chowdary is a Scientist at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Ministry of Earth Sciences, Pune. He extensively works on the impact of climate modes on regional climate variabilities and atmospheric teleconnections. His research interests also include monsoon climate variability, predictability, climate extremes, and physical oceanography. He is involved in capacity-building by teaching courses on air–sea interactions and ocean dynamics.
