James Miller wurde 1986 im Ruhrgebiet geboren. Bereits zur Schulzeit entwickelte er Interesse am Schreiben. Zunächst konzentrierte er sich auf das Verfassen von Kurzgeschichten. Die ersten Kurzgeschichten wurden nie einer breiten Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht. Nach Abschluss der Schule arbeitete er zunächst für mehrere Onlineplattformen und betrieb seinen eigenen Blog. Mit dem Umzug nach Schleswig-Holstein folgte Zeit zum Schreiben. Neben einer Sammlung mit Kurzgeschichten - im beruflichen Kontext - wurde 2019 der erste Roman fertiggestellt und veröffentlicht. 2021 folgte mit "zwischen Eis und Blut" die Fortsetzung, des erfolgreichen Weltkriegsroman "zwischen Hölle und Morgenrot".
