He received B.S., M.S. and Ph.D degrees from this university in 1986, 1989 and 1992, and became a full professor in 1999. He is a fellow of the International Society of Electrochemistry and the Royal Society of Chemistry, and won the National Funds for National Distinguished Young Scholars in 2003, and National Basic Research Program of China as a chief scientist in 2009. His research interests include analytical biochemistry and nanobiosensing, focusing on signal amplification and life
