Dr. Hiran Mayookh Lal is currently working as a post-doctoral researcher at the Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia. He completed his PhD in Engineering Mechanics at the Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2021. His areas of expertise are in polymer science and engineering, fiber-reinforced polymer composites, creep, hybrid, polymer nanocomposites, and the durability of polymers and composites in harsh environments. Dr. Lal has published several peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters and also edited books with leading publishers like Springer, and Elsevier across the globe. He also worked as an Assistant professor (adhoc), at the School of Energy Materials, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India.
