Dr. Piazza received his Ph.D. from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1986 and pursued postdoctoral studies at the Fox Chase Cancer Center and later at Brown University. Dr. Piazza also gained research experience in the pharmaceutical industry with the Proctor and Gamble Company and later with Cell Pathways Inc.
