Prof. Andrzej Cwirzen has obtained his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Silesian University of Technology and his PhD in Concrete Technology from the Helsinki University of Technology. As an associate professor, he led the Concrete Technology Research Group at Aalto University. Later, he was appointed as a full professor at the Luleå?University of Technology and chair of the Structural Engineering Research Group. Since 2019, he is a chaired professor of the Building Materials
