Jose Ramon Saura is an Associate Professor (Tenured) of Data Analytics and Digital Marketing at the Business Economics Department of Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC), Madrid, Spain. His research has primarily focused on the theoretical and practical implications of various dimensions of user-generated data and content, with an emphasis on two pivotal research methodologies applied to business and marketing: data mining and knowledge discovery. Currently, his research interests are mainly in data-driven decision-making, online privacy, online behavior and surveillance capitalism. His contributions have been published in premier international journals in the fields of business, management, economics, marketing, and the information sciences.
