In the vast territory of the Canadian North-West called the Wild, men and beasts live in symbiosis with nature. Yet, a menace is hanging over this equilibrium. Some locals are talking of an Evil Shadow trying to destroy the forest and rumors are spreading that a mad wolf is slaughtering the population. Ranuvik, an old Native Indian, and his daughter Noluk doubt the existence of this malignant spirit. Scissy, a writer, and her companion Andrew who is in charge of criminal investigation, share their views.
The malicious power threatening this indomitable wilderness will come face to face with a united group of men and women, protected by a big white wolf, solitary guardian of the forest and its friends.
Dans le territoire sauvage du Nord-Ouest canadien, le Wild, les hommes et les bêtes vivent en harmonie avec la nature. Mais cet équilibre est menacé. Des Indiens racontent qu’une Ombre Maléfique est prête à détruire la forêt. Certains parlent aussi d’un loup égorgeur. Ranuvik, un vieil Indien, et sa fille Noluk ne croient pas à cette dernière rumeur. Scissy, écrivaine, et son compagnon Andrew chargé des enquêtes criminelles, partagent ce sentiment.
Celui qui étend son pouvoir sur ces terres libres va se heurter à l’union des hommes et à celle d’un grand loup blanc, qui veille en solitaire sur les grands espaces et ses amis.
