Jason Loh is Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head (Teaching), English Language and Literature Department at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research interests include English language and literacy education, language curriculum development and implementation, and language pedagogy. Two of his key research studies have examined the implementation of the national language education programme and the classroom practices of award-winning English language teachers.

Kiren Kaur is Senior Lecturer with the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She specialises in English Language methodology and teacher development. Her areas of interest cover literacy development and assessment literacy. She has written articles and book chapters in these areas of interest.

Sally Ann Jones teaches and researches English language in education in multilingual contexts, focussing on cognitive, cultural, and diversity aspects. While Senior Lecturer at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, she taught language pedagogy and academic subjects at all levels. She has taught and led teachers in schools in Singapore, the UK, Kenya, and Portugal. She now teaches, consults, and researches freelance.
