Description

This book includes select peer-reviewed proceedings from the International Conference on Advances in Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles (AREEV 2023). It emphasizes the applications of electric vehicles, which are set to dominate the transportation sector by replacing conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. Additionally, the book examines research related to power quality issues arising from vehicle-to-grid integration, along with the challenges presented by distributed network management systems. It also addresses topics such as wide band-gap semiconductor technologies and the modeling and simulation of power electronic converters. This book will serve as a valuable reference for beginners, researchers, and professionals interested in renewable energy, electric vehicles, power electronics, and power systems.
