Dr. Qinglong Zhang received his doctorate in hydraulic engineering from Tsinghua University in 2018. From August 2020 to June 2023, Dr. Zhang served as a lecturer at the School of Civil and Resource Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing; from July 2023 to present, he has served as an associate professor at the School of Future Cities. Dr. Zhang’s main research direction is the theory and technology of intelligent construction of infrastructure. His recent research directions include: intelligent geotechnical engineering, intelligent construction and intelligent operation and maintenance, building automation and robotics technology, urban safety, etc.
Since 2013, Dr. Zhang has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and conferences. He is an expert in the China Construction Enterprise Management Association and a review expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He serves as a young editor and reviewer for many high-level journals and won the 8th China Association for Science and Technology Excellent Science and Technology Paper. Dr. Zhang has also won provincial and ministerial first prizes in science and technology for many times, which reflect the achievements of his research results in engineering practice.
