Yang Liu is a Personal Chair in Dynamics and Control in the Department of Engineering at the University of Exeter and an Honorary Lecturer in the Endoscopy Department at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. He serves as an Editor for the journal Nonlinear Dynamics, an Executive Guest Editor for the International Journal of Non-Linear Mechanics, and the Lead Guest Editor for Meccanica. Since joining Exeter in 2016, Professor Liu has led the Exeter Small-Scale Robotics Laboratory. His research lies at the intersection of medical robotics, nonlinear dynamics, and control, with a particular focus on developing small-scale robotic systems for minimally invasive diagnostics and therapeutic applications.Caishan Liu is a Professor at Peking University and Head of the Department of Aerospace Astronautics Engineering. He is a leading expert in multibody and nonlinear dynamics, with research interests spanning low-speed collisions, friction dynamics, nonholonomic systems, granular flow, and aerospace applications. Shyam Prasad is a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, where he has served as the Lead Clinician for both Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. He trained in medicine at the University of Oxford and King's College, London, holds a doctorate in cell biology from the University of Southampton, and has subsequently specialized in advanced endoscopy techniques.
