Yibin Ao is currently a full Professor at Chengdu University of Technology, China. He earned his Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degrees from Chongqing University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Sichuan University respectively. His research focuses on understanding the inter-relationship between the rural built environment and the daily activities of rural residents. Through July 2017 to July 2018, he was seconded to Eindhoven University of Technology, in the Netherlands, as a visiting scholar.

Yang Wang is a Associate Professor at Sichuan College of Architectural Technology, where she serves as Course leader of the Department of Engineering Management. She has presided over or participated in numerous national and provincial-level research projects and published more than 40 academic papers. She has also presided over school-level online courses and won the second prize in the provincial teaching competition among others.

Panyu Peng is a Ph.D. candidate at Chengdu University of Technology, specializing in rural governance and urban-rural spatial planning. His research focuses on the built environment, learning-friendly spaces, and sustainable development in educational and rural contexts. To date, he has published over a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles in high-impact academic outlets and has applied for three national invention patents. His work integrates planning, environmental psychology, and evidence-based design to promote equitable and adaptive spatial strategies.

Jianjun Zhao is a Professor and doctoral supervisor at Chengdu University of Technology, where he serves as Dean of the School of Environmental and Civil Engineering. He is a recognized expert in geotechnical engineering and disaster prevention, and has been selected as a reserve academic leader in Sichuan Province. He has led over 30 national and provincial research projects and published more than 130 academic papers. His work has received multiple awards, including the National Science and Technology Progress Award (First Class), and he holds 16 invention patents.
