Muhammed Serhat Semercioglu holds a bachelor's degree in primary school teaching and a doctoral degree in collaboration literacy education for primary students and is currently working as an assistant professor and department head at the Department of Social Work (refugee children) at Gümüshane University, Türkiye. He has published more than 20 articles in national and international journals/books and presented numerous papers at domestic and international scientific meetings. His research interests include primary school education, refugee education, first literacy teaching, and the professional skills of primary school teachers. His book, titled "Everything Starts with the Family," which focuses on disadvantaged children and their families, was selected as the best educational book of the year in 2022. 
Ahmet Oguz Akçay is an associate professor of primary education at Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Eskisehir, Türkiye. He received his B.A. in primary education from Selçuk University, Konya, Türkiye. He was awarded a full scholarship by the Turkish Ministry of National Education to pursue a master's and doctoral degree in primary education in the United States. He completed his Master's degree in curriculum instruction at the University of Texas, USA. Dr. Akçay earned his doctorate at Duquesne University in the United States in 2016. Throughout his time in graduate school, he actively engaged in various projects and worked as a researcher, primarily focusing on teacher professional development in mathematics teaching. His research focuses on mathematics education (for primary school students and refugee children), STEM education, technology integration, teacher preparation, and teacher education.
