He is co-author of [i]A Guide to Countries of the World[/i] 4th edition. Jan Palmowski is Professor of Modern History at the University of Warwick, and Secretary-General of the Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities. He was formerly Pro-Vice Chancellor and Academic Vice President at the University of Warwick, and Head of the School of Humanities and Professor of European Studies at King's College, University of London.
