Dr. Altaf Q. H. Badar is currently associated with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. He completed his bachelor's and master's at Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, India, in 2001 and 2009, respectively. He pursued his Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, India, and completed it in 2015. Dr. Badar has a diploma in business management completed in 2004 from ICFAI, India. He has 23 years of experience teaching professional engineering courses and programming. His research interests include evolutionary optimization techniques, energy management, smart homes, forecasting, AI Techniques, and energy trading. He has been a member of the Board of Studies of different engineering institutions and RTM Nagpur University, India. He is a senior member of IEEE, a life member of the Indian Society of Technical Education, and a member of IAENG.
Dr. Mahamad Nabab Alam received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2018. He has done PDF from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. He is an assistant professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Warangal. His research interests include power system protection, distribution automation, artificial intelligence techniques, and networked microgrids. He has developed a benchmark test system for networked microgrids, one of his key contributions to the smart grid area. He is a senior member of the IEEE, a member of the Smart Grids International Research Facility Network (SIRFN) and associated with developing power system testing cases under SIRFN.
Dr. Asmae Berrada is a professor of energy at the School of Energy Engineering at the International University of Rabat (UIR). She earned her Ph.D. from the Faculty of Science USMBA and conducted her research at Al Akhawayn University as part of the EUROSUNMED project (EU-H2020 Project). She also holds a master's degree in sustainable energy management and a bachelor's degree in engineering and management science, both from Al Akhawayn University. Dr. Berrada began her career as a part-time faculty member at Al Akhawayn University from 2014 to 2018. She has been honored with research awards from IRESEN, MASEN, and USMBA. Dr. Berrada has led numerous research projects on renewable energy, hybrid energy systems, and energy storage, with a primary focus on energy systems and their modeling.
