Dakah de’nin’s, an Ahtna Athapaskan village site and Dixthada, an Upper Tanana Athapaskan site ? are presented and, with findings from a Kutchin Athapaskan site (Klo-kut) in the northern Yukon Territory, form the basis for an examination of whether or not the archaeological data warrants the definition of three distinct groups of Pacific Drainage Athapaskans during prehistoric and early historic time.
