The succeeding parts discuss the theoretical and operational benefits of anaerobic and industrial wastewater treatment. These topics are followed by presentation of activated sludge models, with particular emphasis on nitrification and precipitation modeling, as well as dynamic modeling of trace contaminant removal in a municipal sewage treatment plant.
