?tefan Cantaragiu graduated in 1988 from the electronic engineering faculty of the "Ferdinand I" Military Technical Academy. He received a PhD in engineering sciences, with the specialty of radio technique and communications in 1997. He is a corresponding member of the Academy of Romanian Scientists, Information Science and Technology section. He has coordinated and led numerous research programs and projects.
